The Emergent Fund (501c3) and our political arm Emergent Action Fund (501c4) are movement rapid response funds led by and for organizers with intersectional, collective liberation values. We serve as one of the few open, accessible trust-based, no strings attached grants for rapid response and emergent organizing led by frontline Black, Indigenous, and people of color. As a nationally recognized philanthropy culture disruptor and praxis leader, Emergent Fund challenges power in who we fund as well as with how we fund. Executive Director

Community Justice seeks a highly motivated, passionate, and experienced executive to lead the organization, guiding the team in a fast-paced environment, generating new revenue, overseeing operations, and ensuring the successful implementation of the Community Justice strategy. The Executive Director will play a pivotal role in implementing, articulating, shaping, and promoting Community Justice’s mission, vision, and strategic direction and advocating for policies at the local, state, and federal levels to end gun violence.  For more information, click here.

Manager of Program Services

Rebuilding Together Montgomery County is looking for a Manager of Program Services.   The role is primarily responsible for the planning, staging, and execution of single day volunteer projects aimed at providing critical repairs, home modifications, and beautification for homeowners and nonprofit facilities. Typically, these projects occur 1-2 times a month throughout Montgomery County and consist of an average of 15-30 volunteers. The MPS will work with the Program Team to execute these events and be able to work in partnership with other Program Staff during project staging and the project day..  For more information, click here.

Executive Director for Transit Development and Delivery

Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director for Transit Development and Delivery. This senior management leadership position is responsible for overseeing project development and delivery of major capital projects, including the Purple Line Light Rail Project outside Washington DC, the East-West Corridor Project in Baltimore, the Southern Maryland Rapid Transit Project in southern Maryland, other upcoming Regional Transit corridors from the Central Maryland Regional Transit Plan, and future commuter rail projects. The Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to advancing the inclusion of Hispanics in Corporate America at a level commensurate with the segment’s economic contributions.  The Corporate Inclusion Index Manager will provide project management, research, and analytic support for the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility’s Research Institute’s (HRI) annual research initiative: the Corporate Inclusion Index™ (CII). Executive Director for Merit System Protection Board

The Merit System Protection Board is a three member quasi-judicial body that makes final administrative decisions on appeals by employees, job applicants, and retirees from grievance and disciplinary decisions. The MSPB has general authority to conduct investigations, audits, or special studies of the merit system. The Executive Director provides legal counsel, consultation, and advice to the County’s Merit System Protection Board (“Board”).
